The number of people unemployed in Germany increased in June of 7000, reports BBC. Thus, the level of unemployment in the country rose to 6.8% of the workforce, according to official data from the German Ministry of Labour.
In June unemployment in the country were 2.882 million. And in May - 2.875 million. The head of the German Employment Agency, Frank-Jürgen Waizel commented that the data indicate a slowdown in the labor market.
German economy excelled in the Eurozone, increasing by 3% in the last two years, including through the global financial crisis.
