Lexus' Detroit reveal is RC F, will have 460-hp V8
Another day, another lightweight, track-ready sports car manufacturer popping up and claiming to give us the world. Today, the companies in question are Palatov Motorsport and Sector 111, the latter of which is responsible for US-market BAC Monos. Their goal is to build an 1,800-pounds sports car that uses a 430-horsepower, emissions-compliant V8. Based on the Palatov D2, a 1,600-pound car that looks like the love child of a Caterham , a KTM X-Bow and the Flip Car from Fast and Furious 6 , Palatov and Sector 111 have dubbed the car Project Dragon. It will get a real name after it's all figured out. We don't have much to go on besides the stated goals and the modification of the Palatov D2, so we'll file this one right in the "vaporware" drawer until more information becomes available. You can scroll gaymaletube down for the joint press release from both Palatov and Sector gaymaletube 111.

It is ironic that many comments have been made about the V8 Atom. Did you guys know that Dennis was the one who made that possible? He stuffed a Hartley H1 2.8L V8 into his Atom to use the car as a test bed for the motor that he was planning on putting into the DP1. I really recommend that you guys take the time to do a little research about Dennis. You may come away with a new found appreciate for what he has created. http://www.dpcars.net/atom/index.htm December 10 2013 at 4:35 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Reply

I wish you all the best with this new endeavor. Shinoo is a dreamer and a pragmatist, a winning combination. He's kept his business running with Lotus Elige and Pontiac Solstice aftermarket sales and service. Then used that to fuel his real passions, which are racing and these featherweight exotics. It's a labor of love, and with his staff, he's built a legit Euro-tuning shop, not a toy store for rich and stupid. I only wish I could rationalize an Atom or a BAC, but I'm all road, no track, so it makes no sense. December 09 2013 at 11:34 AM Report abuse Permalink +1 rate up rate down Reply
Sorry, but I say leave it to the pros. The Palatov D2 looks like a home-made piece of ****. Lets face it. Witha stick welder, anyone can build a
