Hi all, I was at the snowmaster sale today and bought myself a BD/C 70 SS double door fride/freezer. It has the new digital display as well. This is my first camping fridge/freezer so please bear if this might be a dumb question but I don't see anything in the manual about it. In the top right hand corner of the screen it shows Voltage and it's currently on 27.1v, plugged into the mains at home as I don't have a battery system in the Ranger yet. What does that Voltage site mean and why can I set it higher or lower? The book just explains on how to set it...
Hi. site I bought one a week ago as well. If I may ask what did you pay for it. I take it you got It from the snomaster sale this weekend. Will also keep an eye on this. Think its the voltage that the fridge will cut out if on batery and voltage of batery go below it. Again im not 100% sure.

Can't believe no one on the forum had the answer Spoke to Warren @ snomaster today, that voltage on the screen is your cut off voltage, if the fridge is running on 220V it does not matter but when you are running it straight from the car battery you have to set it to 11.5v and from a deep cycle battery set it to 10v. Another question about the 70L double door... If I put something unfrozen in the fridge, I have to set the fridge on -12c to freeze the product. After it's frozen and I decrease the temp to -4c then the stuff defrosts? Is this correct? I also set my fridge the other day to -17c as a test and overnight ice started forming on the outside of the fridge on the plastic between the two doors...
